Last night we witnessed a fine second episode from the second season of SuperNews! A lot went down, so here’s a quick recap of some of it.
Republican Vice Presidential candidate, ex-Governor of Alaska, and notorious “twilf” Sarah Palin has her head in the clouds for her new talk show, “Parasailin’ with Sarah Palin.” But can she keep that wiener Levi Johnston from mucking things up for her again!?
Miss this week’s infoMania? Here’s a recap. Conor Knighton takes a look at the Palin bonanza following the release of her new book ‘Going Rogue’ as part of his look at the week in media. Also includes new books from Coolio and Heidi and Spencer Pratt, ‘Chef Academy,’ Lou Dobbs’ departure from CNN, and Bon Jovi’s appearance on ‘Inside the Actor’s Studio.’
Sometimes people decide to call things FAILs, when they aren’t really that FAIL. I try to find the good in everything, so this is another edition of some FAILs that I don’t think are really FAILs.
Current.com user Smurph25 and his whole family are on the right track in thinking that this is not a FAIL. The building simply wants to keep some things in and some things out. They want to make sure that people can enter, and that elephants cannot. Just because you escaped from the zoo, does not mean you are welcome in our courtyard.
FAIL really? Okay so maybe you didn’t like the movie when you first saw it. And maybe you didn’t like it when your roommate Evan quoted it every five minutes. But you totally loved it when you watched it again. It happened to me. As for the tattoo, totally legit, but he should have added to it, like with some cool dude sunglasses or something.
Conservative blogs are picking it up as an example of problems with the liberal media. Noel Sheppard from NewsBusters said:
“In the end, this was just a lot of conservative bashing in very bad taste, especially the shot of Palin’s Twitter page and her astonishingly offensive screen name “Gun-Ho”
I want to take a moment and reach out to the Conservative media. I’m not speaking on behalf of SuperNews! or Current TV. These are just the words of one fine young American.
I do not, nor have I ever believed that Sarah Palin is a “Twilf.” I’m throwing this out there, because Sarah Palin is not a “Tweep I’d like to follow”.
I’ve been persuaded by conventional advertising that if I don’t have white teeth, I’m ugly. My teeth are certainly not yellow, but they aren’t paper colored either. I knew I needed to do something, so I consulted a dentist. That dentist kept trying to fool me into paying hundreds of dollars for all his experience, professional equipment, and sanitary conditions.
Luckily a single mom discovered a simple trick to whiten my teeth.
My sister likes to pop on IM, while I’m at work to shoot me hyperlinks, when I’m super busy. Normally I’ll be all like “ALLY WTF, I’M AT WORK” but today (if she signs back online) I’ll say “ALLY WTF, THAT WAS HILARIOUS.”
I thought I’d heard of every blog, so it was surprising when my sister showed me one that I’d never seen.
Snacks and Shit is a great site, because it covers my two favorite interests: Rap and Analysis. The authors look at the ridiculous of rap lines, and explicate on them.
You put cocaine on your sandwiches? Or you keep it in the fridge in a jar? Wait, I got it. You have a lot of cocaine just like you have a lot of… mayonnaise? Or… this is nonsense.

“We own things.” - Rick Ross, Speedin’
Like the worst medallion ever? That’s a thing. Is that what you meant?
I own things too. But that’s not that impressive.

I think this is my favorite blog, and I’ve only read the first page. Go to it.
