Miss this week’s infoMania? Here’s a recap. Conor Knighton takes a look at the Palin bonanza following the release of her new book ‘Going Rogue’ as part of his look at the week in media. Also includes new books from Coolio and Heidi and Spencer Pratt, ‘Chef Academy,’ Lou Dobbs’ departure from CNN, and Bon Jovi’s appearance on ‘Inside the Actor’s Studio.’
infoMania again did a great job of being purely hilarious. It seems like the only way that cable news can describe the health bill is in terms of baseball. News simply does not know how to celebrate women in sports, unless maybe they are having threesomes.
Last night’s infoMania was a blast. They looked at Kate (minus nine.) Roker in fake wax. ‘V’ and it’s connections to ‘O’. Levi Johnston’s tweets. And all the tools at Tool Academy.
Missed reading the week’s magazines? Conor Knighton has got you covered. He looks at Adam Lambert, Cougar Conventions (which we already covered), Fergie’s undying love for Josh Duhamel, and his potential affairs with a stripper.
Conor looks at some awards shows that you didn’t know existed. He identifies the first single-handed teabag, Microsoft not being happy with Family Guy. He’s also got you covered. He finds an issue of Scary Monster magazine, and finds out that 88-year old Nancy Reagan, has only months to live!
This week’s infoMania sneak peek is a That’s Gay segment.
Bryan looks at the strange, strange world of gay conversion. There are ex-gay therapists out there, who want to pet ashamed homosexuals until they go hetero. Interesting methods, I wonder if they work.
infoMania airs every Thursday night at 10pm, only on Current TV.
Still uninformed about the world you’re living in? infoMania is here to help.
Last night, Conor kept you up on the biggest stories. What’s grosser than a reenactment of an actual colonic? A real colonic performed live on the Tyra show. Sabado Gigante’s has a Miss Ass competition, which is way less gross. Balloon Boy is still all over the news, and Rick Sanchez names a hurricane after himself.
Sergio’s White Hot Top 5 looks at YouTube’s Hottest Rap Videos. He finds they, aren’t as hot as youtube would like you to think.
In memory of Thomas Edison, Brett’s Viral Video Film School takes a look at YouTube’s Dumbest inventions. These inventions are so dumb, that Edison would probably rollover in his grave. Using modern pseudo-science, we can know what people are saying as they roll around in their grave. Conor looks at the profundity of ghost shows on television.
Balloon Boy was the fastest meme to ever happen. I’ve covered some of the impact on the internet, but infoMania keeps you up on what the rest of the world was doing during those fateful six hours.
Video games, mugs, key rings, barfing on live TV, mouse pads.
I particularly like the Balloon Boy mouse pad, because both are obsolete. Though the mouse pad’s obsolescence has been sustained for much longer than that of the Balloon Boy.
I had my headphones, so I wasn’t paying attention when the yelling started. Brett told me to pull out my camera, because breaking news was happening. Ben Hoffman, friendliest man in the world, had broke! He was yelling, and the whole office didn’t know why. Brett takes you on a tour of the infoMania office, and the loud noises coming from Ben’s office.
Stay tuned to this week’s infoMania to find out what made Ben so mad!
