Behind the scenes footage is a constant source of GOTCHA JOURNALISM or of media demanding rights before other media. In fact, it can be a horrid and painful process. But when it came to Jack Black and Michael Cera, the introductions were far easier than the demo of Brütal Legend.

And a lot easier to understand, too!

So join this wondrous behind the scenes video as Cera and Black admit to meeting each other the first time. It would be just as awkward if you saw them on the street and screamed, “OH GOOD GOD YOU’RE SCOTT PILGRIM AND YOU’RE BRÜTAL LEGEND DUDE.”

Just to remind you it exists, let’s think back to a simpler time when men were men and Clifton Collins Jr. was on stage with Troy Duffy at Current HQ. When they discussed simpler things like weapons, shooting things, pillaging, raping sheep and addressing all those nasty questions of making a sequel.

Are you a die-hard Boondock Saints fan? Psyched for the sequel and can’t stop watching the trailer? Then have we got the chance for you. From now until October 13th (that’s Tuesday) at 7:30 pm est, you can go to Current and leave your question in the comments for writer/director Troy Duffy and Clifton Collins Jr. (Extract) about the Boondocks sequel.
