We’re Watching: The Prince of Persia Trailer with “HD”

What exactly is HD? Is it a way to note the definition of a video? Or is it something greater, something like a generic warning that you should put your head down and not look up at the train wreck until it has significantly passed.
Maybe it’s a bit of the former mixed with the latter, but something about Jerry Bruckheimer forces me to keep my eyes open in some ode to Kubrick that I unwittingly succumb to every time. Especially when it has such subtle jokes as “Jake Gyllenhaal is keeping the knife in his anus” and “There is more CGI in this film than in the goddamn video game it’s based off of.”
That second one isn’t so apparent, but give it time.
